Girl Scouts Plan to Sell Beverly Camp

The Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts plan to sell Camp Paradise in Beverly.

The Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts board of directors earlier this summer voted to sell their 12-acre camp of Cole Street in Beverly, according to an article in the Gloucester Daily Times

The camp is one of the least used camps that the girl scouts have in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and the single building complex, officials say, does not allow them to offer the level of programming as others in the state. 

“It doesn’t have the flexibility to run the kinds of programs we can run at some of our other properties,” Goldstein said.

The property is currently valued at $1.57 million.
