Meet Your New Community Editor

Monday marks some of the first staff changes for Beverly Patch since it launched last year.   Editor Molly Buccini is not going anywhere and instead will take on the new role of community editor along with the same job on some other nearby Patch sites.  Now you're probably wondering what that means, and who's the editor now.  The new editor will be Bobby Gates, who will be covering the news and stories that are important to you in the city. My role as the community editor will be to help you with everything else. Whether there's an important announcement you'd love to post on the site, an event you want our readers to know about, or you're interested in blogging but aren't sure where to begin, I'll be there to guide you along.  I'll also …

To post events to the site for free: navigate to the Events page and click “Add an Event” on the right side of the page. Tell us all the details about your upcoming event, then click “post my event” at the bottom of the page. That puts the event directly on our calendar.
