St. John's Episcopal Church offers several services throughout the week, including a Family Sermon, Main Parish Eucharist and Meditation Chapel. 

It also hosts concert series, offering free programs of classical, jazz and gospel music, staged and costumed opera, poetry readings (by the poet), dance of Cambodia, Africa and Peru, puppet theater, mimes and other programs in an intimate setting.

Also heavily involved in the community, it participates in visiting Alzheimer’s patients at Ledgewood, Feed the Hungry at Monday Night Suppers, the HAWC walk, taking the Polar Plunge for River House, supporting the B-Safe Program by feeding the kids for a week and more.
