Cabot Street Cinema Theatre has been a fixture of downtown Beverly for more than 35 years. The theater primarily shows independent and foreign films, and has one large screen, usually offering more than one screening a day. Customers can inquire with the management regarding private screenings and renting the theater. Additionally, the Cabot Street Cinema Theatre is home to the world's longest-running stage magic production, though that facet of the business is on a temporary hiatus. Though its present incarnation was officially founded in the mid-1970s, the Cabot Street Cinema Theatre is in an elegant, 1920s-era building, which is ornate and appointed, giving customers the experience of viewing films in a truly cultured environment.
