When I was forcefully brought to Beverly Hospital by the Beverly Police Dept. on 10/19/12 I was tortured and abused by the Emergency Room doctor and the Leland unit staff for many hours resulting in serious physical damage to my left rotator cuff for which I recieved no treatment at all while I was a patient against my will. I was brought into the Emergency room in four point restraints by the police that, if you can believe it, were more humane than the ones I was transfered into in the Emergency Room by a so called doctor and then again in the Leland psychiatric unit. My name is Michael Gallagher & I was 65 yrs. old when this happened. The entire proceedure by the Police Dept. that day was done illegally as well. They broke and entered into my apartment without proper authority to do so. No warrent had been issued or document had even been signed yet when they initially broke into my apartment. What happened to me that day was a travasty of justice and Beverly Hospital, the Beverly Police Dept., The State Police SWAT Team, and Eliot Community Human Services were all a part of that travasty----none of them can be trusted with our tax dollars. They are all guilty of elderly abuse.
