Top Seed Beverly Taking on Tewksbury in Sectional Final

Here are five things you need to know heading in to Monday night's North Division 2 championship game.

Here are five things to get you ready for tonight's North Division 2 championship game between Beverly and Tewksbury.

1. Who, What, When and Where: Beverly takes on Tewksbury on Monday night at 6 p.m. on the ice of the Tsongas Center in Lowell. The winner earns the North Division 2 championship and will take on Medfield Sunday in the state title game.

2. Road to the Garden: Beverly earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament and a first round bye. In the quarterfinals, they beat Danvers 2-1 in a shootout. Then in the semifinals, they beat Lincoln-Sudbury, 5-1, to set up the meeting against Tewksbury.

3. Scouting the Panthers: Beverly is the No. 1 seed in North Division 2 courtesy of a regular season record of 18-1-1.

4. Common Foes: Though Beverly and Tewksbury didn't face each other this season, they had a few common opponents. Both teams beat Methuen and Marblehead this year. While Beverly had no problem with Lincoln-Sudbury, meanwhile, the Redmen fell to the Warriors, 3-1, on January 15 and tied them, 3-3, on January 29.

5. Tsongas Tickets: If you're looking to be in the stands at the Tsongas Center for the game, you can buy tickets at the door and not online in advance. Adult tickets cost $12 while students and seniors will pay $7. You will also likely need to bring a few extra dollars for parking, as there is a garage not far from the arena.
