Endicott College Named 'Great College to Work For'

For the fifth year, The Chronicle of Higher Education named Endicott College in Beverly as a great place to work.

Endicott College in Beverly has been named one of the 92 best college to work for in the country.

It is the fifth straight year that the co-ed, liberal arts college has been named to the list, which is compiled by The Chronicle of Higher Education.

The rankings were the result of a survey of 43,000 employees at 278 colleges and universities and were announced on Tuesday.

Additionally, Endicott was one of 42 schools on the Honor Roll because it was rated highly across all categories.

The survey included 12 categories and Endicott was ranked highly in 10 of those categories: Collaborative Governance; Professional/Career Development Programs; Teaching Environment; Compensation & Benefits; Facilities, Workspace and Security; Job Satisfaction; Work/Life Balance; Confidence in Senior Leadership; Supervisor/Department-Chair Relationships and Respect and Appreciation.

"This is a very satisfying affirmation of Endicott, but our real goal is not recognition – it's being a community that values the needs and contributions of every individual," said said Endicott President Dr. Richard E. Wylie in a prepared statement as part of the announcement. "In that sense everyone at Endicott helps to make this a great place to work."
