Reward Offered for Info About Fire

There is now a reward being offered by investigators who look into a fire in Ryal Side on Sunday night that is suspicious.

A $5,000 reward has been offered by the state Fire Marshal for information about Sunday night's fire on Folger Avenue.

Multiple reports, including one by Fox 25 in Boston, state that the reward money was offered on Monday evening for information about the fire, which started at about 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Nobody was hurt in the fire, which caused extensive property damage. Several nearby home were evacuated during the fire.

The fire started at a home under construction at 36 Folger Ave. and was intentionally set, the state Fire Marshal told the news channel. The fire then spread to another unoccupied home under construction and destroyed it. Another six home were damaged in some way as home embers from the fire spread through the Ryal Side neighborhood, which is a newer development on a dead-end in an area known as Tanzella's Hill.
