Man in Yankees Hat Robbed Beverly Bank, Police Say

The suspect was on the loose as of Wednesday afternoon.

A man wearing a New York Yankees hat robbed Beverly Bank Wednesday morning, police said.

The robbery happened at about 9:20 a.m. The man walked into the Dodge Street bank and demanded "all the money," police said.

He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and was still on the loose as of 4 p.m.

The suspect is described as a black man standing about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black down vest, a black Yankees hat, and dark pants.

Police said he fled toward Danvers by way of Conant Street.
