Gas Station Robbed at Knifepoint

A downtown Beverly gas station was robbed on Friday evening.

A Beverly gas station was robbed at knife-point on Friday night, according to police.

It happened at about 5:15 p.m. on July 11 at Super Petroleum at 61 Cabot St. Three officers and a sergeant responded and searched the area for a suspect, according to the police log for Friday.

The Salem News reported that the suspect has been described as a thin white man about 6 feet tall with very light brown, slicked-back hair. He was wearing a black, long sleeved T-shirt and black shorts with a black shirt around his face with sunglasses on, the News reported.
