Caller Reports Glass Bottles Being Thrown at House

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police Department's log:
Wednesday, Aug. 14

• 6:38 p.m. a fight in the street was reported on Cabot St. 
• 8:29 p.m. vandalism was reported on Essex Street. 
• 9:59 p.m. a caller reported glass bottle being thrown at a house on Sohier Road. 
• Police arrested John Philip Diianni, 49, of 14 Pond St., Beverly. Diianni was charged with assault and battery. 
• Police arrested Primo Juan Vazquez, 23, of 66 Cabot St. Vazguez was charged with assault and battery. 

• 9:10 a.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle break-in on Dodge Street. 
• 11:35 a.m. a caller reported that he was driving a Penske Truck down a driveway on Broughton Drive and hit a parked car that was in the fire lane in front of 801 Broughton Drive. 
• 11:44 a.m. an uncooperative patient in an ambulance was reported on Herrick Street. 
• Police arrested Stephen Joseph Hyland, of 20 James St. Hyland was charged with an outstanding warrant.
