Beverly Police Investigating Break-in on Woodbury Street

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police Department's log: 


Tuesday, April 1:

  • At 4:42 p.m., police responded to a report of a drunk person sitting on a wall on Park Street. One person was taken to the hospital.
  • At 5:05 p.m., police stopped a motor vehicle on Brimbal Avenue. The driver will be summonsed on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
  • At 5:28 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Park Street.
  • At 5:42 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Park Street.
  • At 6:10 p.m., police responded to a possible break-in at an abandoned house on Woodbury Street.
  • At 7:03 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Cabot and Roundy streets.
  • At 8:39 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Essex Street.

Wednesday, April 2

  • At 12:39 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Essex Street. David W. Mattson, 50, of 45 Elliott St., Beverly, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.
  • At 1:46 a.m., police responded to a drug overdose on Rantoul Street.
  • At 6:36 a.m., police and fire units responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a fire hydrant near the intersection of McKay and Goodyear streets.
  • At 11:12 a.m., police conducted a well-being check near the intersection of Margin and Bridge streets.
  • At 12:10 p.m., police responded to a past larceny on Essex Street.
  • At 3:02 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Cross Lane.
  • At 3:09 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Rantoul Street.
