Fight at Beverly High School Leads to Arrest

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police Department's log: 

Thursday, May 15

  • At 5:42 p.m., police responded to a report of a man harassing women on Brimbal Avenue.
  • At 6:04 p.m., police and fire units responded to a vehicle fire near the intersection of Conant and Dodge streets.
  • At 7:02 p.m., police responded to a report of a TV stolen from a home on Cabot Street.
  • At 8:25 p.m., police responded to a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on Cabot Street.
  • At 11:33 p.m., police responded to a medical overdose on Lexington Drive.

Friday, May 16

  • At 12:51 a.m., police responded to a report of a man throwing rocks at a window on Broadway.
  • At 1:05 a.m., police responded to a report of disorderly conduct.
  • At 1:42 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Home Street.
  • At 8:27 a.m., police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Park and Federal streets.
  • At 9:02 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Cabot Street.
  • At 9:39 a.m., police responded to a report of past vandalism to a car on Manor Road.
  • At 10:56 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Rantoul Street.
  • At 11:02 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Elliott Street.
  • At 11:30 a.m., police responded to a report of a stolen laptop on Hale Street.
  • At 12:18 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Enon Street.
  • At 1:20 p.m., police responded to a report of a fight in the lobby of the high school on Sohier Road. Khadijya A. Lamons, 19, of 603 Manor Road, Beverly, was arrested on charges of disturbing a school assembly and for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 1:46 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Enon Street.
  • At 3:50 p.m., police responded to a report of a man threatening a woman on Sohier Avenue.
  • At 4:35 p.m., police responded to a two-car motor vehicle accident on Hale Street.
  • At 4:48 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Elliott Street.
  • At 6:21 p.m., police made a warrant arrest on Park Street.

Other Arrests

Adam J. McLaughlin, 31, of 602 Manor Road, Beverly, was arrested for reportedly having two outstanding warrants.

Dennis Gauthier, 45, of 30 Ellsworth Ave., Beverly, was arrested for reportedly having two outstanding warrants/

Michael A. Murphy, 46, of 8 Savoy Road, Hamilton, was arrested for reportedly having two outstanding warrants.

Phyllis A. Rogers, 50, of 48 Lincolk Park, Gloucester, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Donna M. Woodford, 49, of 26 Home St., Beverly, was arrested on a charge of assault and battery.
