Beverly Fire Department Assists Woman with Baby Locked in Apartment

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police Department's log:
Monday, Aug. 12
5:44 p.m. a caller reported a homeless person drinking in the park on Park Street. Police dispersed a group of homeless people in the park as well as one of the individuals who was drinking alcohol. 
7:32 p.m. police reported a stolen motor vehicle that was recovered on Hale Street. 
8:22 p.m. a caller reported the theft of multiple items from a building on Park Street. 
10:05 p.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident involving property damage on Enon Street. 
Tuesday, Aug. 13
1:44 a.m. a caller reported a car on the railroad tracks near Cabot Street. 
9:54 a.m. a caller reported two catalytic converters that were stolen from vehicles on Herrick Street. 
10:42 a.m. check fraud was reported on Brimbal Avenue. 
11:31 a.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident involving property damage on Dodge Street. 
2:32 p.m. a past assault was reported on Mill Street. 
3:27 p.m. a caller reported a lady screaming in a hallway on Duck Pond Road. She was locked out of her apartment and her baby was inside. Beverly Fire Department assisted.
