A Beverly bus driver has been fired after allegedly dropping off a child in the wrong location, according to WHDH.

A Beverly school bus driver and her onboard bus monitor were fired Wednesday after reportedly dropping a six-year-old off in the wrong place, 7NewsBoston is reporting.

The mother of a student at St. John the Evangelist School told 7News her son was accidentally dropped off at their locked home, which is two miles away from her office, where he was supposed to get off.

The boy reportedly asked to get off at his mother's office but his request was denied. He was later found by a passerby huddling under a tree in the rain, 7News is reporting

Pauline Cloyd, 66, the bus driver, has since been charged with reckless endangerment of a child.
