Rough Seas Force Second Fireworks Postponement

The West Beach fireworks in Beverly Farms have been postponed for a second time.

Organizers of the fireworks off West Beach in Beverly Farms say high winds and heavy seas on Saturday morning have forced a second postponement of the show.

The Farms-Prides Fourth of July Shoreline Illumination and Fireworks will now happen on Monday, July 7. It is the second postponement for the fireworks, which were originally scheduled for July 4 but were moved to Saturday, July 5 to avoid Hurricane Arthur.

Wristbands will be required for entry to West Beach after 5 p.m. on Monday. The wristbands are available for $10 at several Beverly Farms businesses and $10 at the gate after 5 p.m. on Monday.
