The Highland Street Foundation's Free Fun Fridays

WHAT:  The Highland Street
Foundation continues its annual “Free Fun Fridays” initiative, a summer program
that opens doors to treasured cultural institutions on Fridays throughout
Massachusetts at no cost to visitors. A total of 67 museums and cultural venues will
participate in the program, an increase from the 60 venues that participated in
2013. This week’s venues feature an eclectic mix that is sure to have something
for everyone.



WHO:  “Free Fun Fridays” is open to patrons of all ages
and incomes. Since being established in 2009, “Free Fun Fridays” has drawn more
than half a million visitors to its participating venues. Last year, the event
saw 165,000 visitors. This year, the Foundation hopes to reach more than
200,000 visitors.
