Timothy Neill Artist's Reception

On November 17th Mingo will host an artist's reception for Timothy Neill from 5-8 pm. The event is free and open to the public, light refreshments will be served.

Neill's work is representational in nature, however both his still life and figurative pieces utilize dramatic lighting and compositions which create a palpable narrative much broader than what is seen on the canvas. Simultaneously Neill's paintings are nostalgic, candid, and even riddled with a touch of mystery.

Neill received his Master of Science in Art Education degree from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art from York College of Pennsylvania.  Neill has taught studio art classes at the Boston Arts Academy and the Summer Studios Sessions at MassArt. In 2010 Neill and art conservator Sarah Blanding founded Allied Conservation.  Neill is an artist member of The Copley Society of Art in Boston and an associate member of the Guild of Boston Artists.  Neill is represented by Sarah Jessica Fine Arts in Provincetown.

Visitors may also see the exhibit any time during Mingo's open hours: M-W & Fri 10 am - 5 pm, Thu 11-7 pm, Sat 10-4 pm.
