Dream for Dillon - Dillon Renard Scholarship Fund

If you live in or around Salem, you probably heard about it on the news… a tragic accident earlier this year that took the life of special young man. Dillon Renard was that special kind of kid, everyone who met him became his friend. His smile lit up the room and he didn’t stop until everyone was smiling with him. He had such a good heart, and was busy planning his future. Dillon was just 19 years old and despite his struggles through school dealing with multiple learning disabilities he was still looking forward to college, while he worked two jobs to make it happen. His dreams ended on June 16th though, because of a senseless accident involving a drunk driver and a parked flatbed tow truck. Dillon’s loss left a gaping hole in his family and most of all in the heart of his baby sister who he always had by his side.
Dillon’s family has set up a scholarship fund in his memory and is planning a fundraiser in the fall. We ask that you consider donating an item for a silent auction to help us raise funds so we can assist others fulfill a dream that Dillon never had a chance to see come true.
