Coastal 5K Run For the Beach! & Kids Fun Run

The Coastal 5K Run for the Beach! is wonderful run with ocean views. Proceeds support Salem Sound Coastwatch--a local environmental organization with an active Adopt a Beach program.

The 5K starts at 10 am. Packet Pickup and registration runs from 8:45 - 9:50 am. Entry fee is $25. The race route is not the usual Lynch Park course. A special kids race for 12 and under--the Kids 1/2 Mile Fun Run follows the 5K starting at 11:15. Free gift for every child. Costumes are encouraged (especially marine-themed) with a prize for most creative costume. Entry fee is $10 per child.
