Beverly Resident Creates 'Measuring Up' Shopping App

Measuring Up is for sale on the Apple App Store for $1.99.

Beverly resident Lauri Chertok said she can still remember the not-so-happy memories of struggling to buy clothes with the 'right fit'.

But now that she's created 'the new way to shop,' it's no longer a problem.

Chertok launched the 'Measuring Up' shopping app for Apple 'to bring joy and efficiency back to clothes shopping.'

The app comes with complete instructions on how to measure, record and store each person's body information, as well as how to measure the clothing for a perfect fit.

Measuring Up also automatically converts measurements taken in inches into centimeters if needed when traveling or buying clothing online or from a catalog.
