Route 1A in Wenham is closed near Wenham Lake after a head on crash involving a motorcycle on Thursday afternoon.
The crash occurred near the intersection with Great Pond Road, just north of the Beverly line.
A delivery truck carrying building materials and a motorcycle were involved. The front of the truck caught fire after the crash.
The State Police accident reconstruction team was called in and Wenham Police Captain Jeff Tobey said the road would be closed until at least 4 p.m.
