HBO is gearing up for a return to Beverly for filming this summer – but that’s about all that is known.
John Soames, executive director of the Beverly Chamber of Commerce, said the organization was contacted on Tuesday by HBO, seeking “flyers for tourist destinations, restaurants, theatres, and other places to visit to provide to their crew.”
A crew of 100 people are expected to be in the area for shooting through December, HBO told the Chamber.

Mayor Bill Scanlon said nobody from HBO has contacted him, and Police Chief Mark Ray said nobody from HBO has contacted him about arranging details or security.
