More Snow to Complicate Tuesday Evening Commute

The second snowstorm in three days will drop a few inches of snow in Beverly on Tuesday.

Ready or not, here it comes.

Another 3-5 inches of snow is forecasted to fall on Tuesday.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday. Snow is expected to start falling after 10 a.m., becoming heavy briefly in the afternoon before tapering off in the evening.

The weather service says driving conditions may become hazardous at times and heavy snow will likely affect the evening commute. Visibility may be down to a half- or quarter-mile at times.

Northeasterly winds of 5-10 mph and gusts up to 20 mph are expected to accompany the snow. Two to four inches may accumulate during the day with another 1 to 2 inches during the night. The temperature will be in the teens to mid-20s.

The storm this past weekend dropped 7.3 inches of snow in Beverly.
