TELL US: Was Sandy What You Expected?
Did Sandy treat Beverly better or worse than you expected? Let us know in the comments.
High winds, big waves, and at times torrential rains took over Beverly on Monday afternoon and evening as Sandy rolled through.
Throughout the day scanner reports indicated there were several trees down, and sections of North Beverly and Beverly Farms saw scattered power outages.
So, we want to know: was Sandy what you expected, or was it better, or worse?
Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Where I live in Beverly, it was not as devestating as I thought it would be. Just alot of wind..nothing much more than an occassional shower. Not such a big hoop la as the need to cancel every program on tv to cover it.

The power didn't even flicker at my home in Ryal Side. I think National Grid did a great job of trimming trees over the summer and in the days leading up to the storm. We seem to have dodged a bullet!

We had quite a bit of damage in our section of North Beverly. One of our large pine trees came down on the neighbors house and our road was blocked by two large pines. We did not loose power for too long. A total of 16 hours.
