For burrito fans, the wait is over. 

Representatives from Chipotle Mexican Grill said the eatery is expected to open in the North Beverly Plaza this week. 

The grill serves gourmet burritos, bowls, tacos and salads, and prides itself on using quality ingredients — local products if possible.

This year Chipotle expects to use over 10 million pounds of produce from local family farms. The local produce is grown on farms within 350 miles of the restaurants where it is served.

The CEO says the restaurants want to change the way people think about fast food.

Chipotle strives to prepare high-quality, good tasting food for about $7 in a clean and bright dining room with music.
