Potential riders can get information on the ride, sign up for the Tour de Cure, and win prizes at Pinnacle on Thursday, Feb. 28.

Terry Cowman, captain of Can Crash Cycle Club’s Tour de Cure team, has been riding with the North Shore Tour de Cure for three years. “We ride to raise funds to fight diabetes and to raise awareness of the disease and its terrible impact on millions of our relatives and friends,” Cowman explains. “We know that our hardest day on the bike is nothing compared to the challenges faced by diabetics every day.”

The kick off and registration night offers everyone the opportunity to register for the Tour. “In addition, we will be auctioning off a football signed by Patriot’s star kicker Stephen Gostkowski, as well as several other cycling related items generously provided by Pinnacle Bike Works,” Cowman states.

There will be food and refreshments provided. “If the weather permits, we will also have a bike ride from the shop earlier that day.” Cowman suggests calling Pinnacle at (978) 922-7722 for more information or directions. Pinnacle Bike Works is located at 45 Enon Street, Beverly, MA 01915.
