In an effort to encourage shoppers to patronize local Beverly businesses during the 2012 holiday season, the City of Beverly is again offering FREE 2 HOUR PARKING at ALL METERED PARKING SPACES & OFF-STREET MUNICIPAL LOTS ON CERTAIN DAYS DURING THE NEXT SEVERAL WEEKS.
ON THURSDAYS, FRIDAYS, AND SATURDAYS between Thanksgiving & New Years Day (as well as Monday December 31, 2012) customers visitingstores & offices in Downtown Beverly can park at ANY ON-STREET OR OFF-STREET METERED PARKING SPOT FOR FREE FOR UP TO 2 HOURS.
METERS & PAYSTATION LOTS WILL BE ENFORCED FOR STAYS LONGER THAN 2 HOURS. "FEEDING" meters & paystations is not allowed & subject to enforcement actions.
TIME LIMITS MUST BE OBSERVED IN UNMETERED SPACES THAT HAVE POSTED TIME LIMITS.
LOADING ZONES & HANDICAPPED PARKING SPACES WILL BE ENFORCED AS USUAL.
EMPLOYEES OF DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES should continue to park only in the long term parking sections of off-street municipal lots. The first 2 hours of parking in these sections will also be FREE on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays between Thanksgiving & New Years.
